Privacy

This site is operated by Nullzeiger GmbH, Köchlistrasse 28, 8004 Zürich, Switzerland, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP/revDSG) and, where applicable, the EU GDPR.

What we collect

PracticeClef does not require an account. We do not collect names or profiles. Progress, MIDI preferences, and similar settings stay in your browser (local storage) and are not sent to us. If you email feedback, we receive whatever you put in that message.

We do use Google Analytics to measure visits. That is a third-party service and it uses cookies or similar identifiers. Details below.

Technical data

The site is delivered via Cloudflare's content delivery network. Cloudflare processes technical connection data (such as IP addresses) transiently to serve and secure the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-0TJ6S81NR2) on this site, including this page. Google may set cookies or use similar identifiers, and collects page views, technical and device data, approximate location derived from IP address, and referral information. Google acts as our processor; some processing may take place in the United States. We use this to see which pieces and pages people use. We do not use it to serve ads.

You can block it with your browser's tracking protection, a content blocker, or Google's opt-out add-on. Google's own policy is at policies.google.com/privacy.

Connecting a digital piano

When you choose Connect piano in a score, your browser asks for permission to read notes from your instrument. What you play is processed in your browser; performances are not transmitted to us unless a future feature explicitly says so and you opt in.

Payments

When paid plans launch, checkout and billing will be handled by a payment provider acting as merchant of record; their privacy terms will be linked at checkout. We do not store card data.

Your rights

Under the FADP/GDPR you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data concerning you. For these requests, write to info@practiceclef.com.
