About this edition
The third piece of Robert Schumann's Album für die Jugend, Op. 68 (1848), a gently flowing, songful melody in the same beginner-friendly C major as "Melody" (No. 1).
A good piece for legato phrasing practice -- keep the right-hand melody smoothly connected while the left hand stays light and supportive, the next natural step after the more march-like schumann-op68-no2-soldiers-march.
